- Surrey Kellys Directory for 1913 notes "Beddington Corner" and that there was a sub-station of the Wallington Fire Brigade there. No address given. A newspaper article from about 1980 describes a wooden shed with a tin roof, near the pub - possibly The Queens Head (now closed).
